Koala Insulation launches services in central Pa. – PennLive

An insulation contractor has opened for business in the midstate.

Koala Insulation of Central Pennsylvania, which is based out of Carlisle, provides several methods of insulation, including traditional batt insulation, blown-In loose fiberglass or cellulose, and spray foam.

“Attic Insulation, with proper air sealing, can be one of the most effective ways to reduce your energy costs,” Kevin Robinson, operations manager of Koala Insulation Headquarters, said in a news release. “Most homeowners will see reduced energy bills by upgrading their insulation.”

The company provides services in Cumberland, Dauphin, Perry, York, Adams, Lebanon, and Lancaster counties.

“Our goal with Koala Insulation of Central PA is to give homeowners, contractors, and builders top-notch service, starting with a free in-home consultation and ending with five-star installations,” said Salim Michel Makhlouf, franchise owner of Koala Insulation of Central Pennsylvania.

The business was launched in June. This is the fifth Koala Insulation franchise in Pennsylvania. Koala Insulation operates in more than 30 states.

Makhlouf previously owned his own restaurant as well as a video production company. Makhlouf also currently works for Pa. Media Group, which includes PennLive, The Patriot-News and Penn Studios. Makhlouf is the director of production at Penn Studios.
